Hi, I'm Mailyn!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who truly loves this work. I help adults, couples, and teens navigate life's challenges, find their footing, and start feeling like themselves again. I'm licensed in Maryland, Texas, Utah, and California, and as a proud Puerto Rican, I also offer sessions in Spanish — because therapy should feel comfortable, and that starts with language.

Meet Mailyn

Life gets hard. You don't have to figure it out alone.

Sometimes we need help with:

Setting boundaries
Saying no
Being autonomous
Feelings of guilt
Navigating relationships
Advocacy
Some of the things I help people work through
Life transitions
Self-improvement
Increasing self-esteem/self worth
Anxiety
Depression

About me

I'm fluent in English and Spanish, which means I can connect with a wide range of clients in the language that feels most natural to them. Every person I work with is different, and I bring that understanding into every single session.

Credentials

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. My clients trust me to help them move forward — and so do the clinicians I supervise.

Practical tools

FAQ

Got questions? I've got answers.

What can I expect from my first therapy session?

Think of our first session as a chance to get comfortable. You'll share a little about what brought you here, what you're hoping for, and any worries on your mind. I'll walk you through how everything works and we'll figure out the best way to move forward — together. No pressure, no judgment.

How long does each therapy session last?

Sessions are 60 minutes, which gives us enough time to really dig in without taking over your whole day. If you need a little more time, I also offer 80-minute sessions — totally up to you.

How do I know which type of therapy is right for me?

Honestly? We figure it out together. In our early sessions, we'll talk about your history, what's going on now, and what you want to feel different. From there, I'll tailor my approach to fit you — not the other way around.

Is everything I say in therapy confidential?

Yes — what you share stays between us. Confidentiality is something I take really seriously. There are a few rare legal and safety exceptions, but I'll always be upfront with you about those.

Do you accept insurance?

I'm not in-network with any insurance providers, but I can give you a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement. I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and more.

How often should I attend therapy sessions?

Most people start with weekly sessions — it helps build momentum and keeps things moving. As you make progress, we can dial it back to every other week or once a month. We'll check in regularly and adjust as we go.

How much does therapy cost?

Your first session is 80 minutes and $220 — a little longer so we have plenty of time to get to know each other. After that, 60-minute sessions are $150 and 80-minute sessions are $180.
